Dry Creek Valley Scholarship

To ensure a legacy of knowledgeable and thoughtful stewards of this valley, and to provide access to the resources that education offers, the Dry Creek Valley Association and the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley seek to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to the residents of the Dry Creek Watershed Area (DCWA) and their children.

To facilitate the disbursement of moneys collected by the Dry Creek Valley Association and the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley, this fund will be administered by the Community Foundation of Sonoma County and coordinated by the Dry Creek Valley Scholarship Committee.

It is hoped that the DCV Scholarship fund will award to worthy recipients at least $7,000 annually with the number and amounts of awards decided upon by the committee according to the number of applicants each year and the following criteria:

• financial need
• grade point average
• work experience
• school and community based activities
• honors and awards
• special circumstances.

Qualified applicants with a DCWA residential address may be graduating seniors, students currently enrolled in, or adults wishing to enter or return to accredited colleges, universities, junior colleges, or business and trade schools.
