The Clean Up was a great success!                                   

On October 25th, volunteers picked up their litter bags and grabbers at Passalacqua Winery on Lambert Bridge Road and by 10:30 were largely finished, leaving a much cleaner valley.   Participating wineries (Sbragia, Nalle, Wilson, Mozzocco, Ridge, Passalacqua, Mauritson, Kokomo, Lambert Bridge, Pedroncelli) did a terrific job.  Pedroncelli deserves a special note for an extraordinary job on Canyon and Walling Road.  In addition to taking care of "routine litter issues" they retrieved 35-40 tires, 4 TV sets, discarded toys and more! 

As always, Wine Country Bikes helped out.  They have been consistent volunteers and are always willing to take on any assigned task.  Many thanks to them!  Individuals who live in the valley filled twenty-five 50-gallon bags.  Special thanks to Laurie Nimmo, Craig Messick, Cynthia Adam, Joyce Chang and her daughter, Robin Froman, Cara and Simone Mocci, Patty and Dick Ford, Yael Bernier, Fred Euphrat, Jill and Jay Fisher, the Brudie family, Barbara Schneider, Carter Dake, Scott Sibary, Jane Kerlinger, John and Janice Torres, Kelly Dick and Justin and Jenelle Escavedo.  To those missed, Randy Adam, hard-working organizer of the event, asks your forgiveness and thanks you as well.
