23rd Annual Dry Creek Valley Association’s Zin Taste Off

Attention Amateur Winemakers!

There just can’t be any stiffer competition among Zinfandels, worldwide, than that presented to our Taste Off competitors as they battle for what has been coined the coveted “Golden Bung Awards”. Only Non-Commercial, Dry Creek Valley Zins (75% or better) were included. Drinking-age picnic attendees were allowed to purchase flights that include two voting chips. Chips were then placed in jars corresponding to the voters’ favorite picks. At the close of tasting the chips were counted resulting in 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd prizes as well as the Best of Show.
