Dear DCVA Members and Neighbors,

Looking forward to seeing you, on March 22nd! We’re counting heads and planning the tables! Will you be there?

There will be a short business meeting and election of the Board of Directors. See more about the election below — plus a proxy to use if you can’t be there in person. Bring your neighbors! It’s a great way to introduce others to our community and share the fun.

Enjoy local wines and potluck dishes made by the best cooks in the Valley.

POTLUCK DETAILS:

All place settings and glasses will be provided. Bring a bottle of wine if you wish to share. Local vintners will also provide wine.

Potluck assignments are as follows and should feed 8-10 people.

Please submit your membership dues for fiscal year 7/1/25-6/30/26 if not already sent in. Dues are $45/family. You may pay at the door or online at https://drycreekvalleyassociation.org/product/annual-membership/ or mail a check to DCVA, P.O. Box 1221, Healdsburg, CA, 95448

DRY CREEK VALLEY ASSOCIATION NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

The election of Directors for the Dry Creek Valley Association will take place during the Annual Dinner and Business Meeting on March 22, 2026.

In compliance with our bylaws, you are being notified that:

1. Six continuing directors were elected in 2025 for two-year terms ending March 2027. They are Anna Bernier, Nancy Bevill, Jill Young-Fisher, Cecile Isaacs, Richard Kagel, and Andrew Nalle.
2. The Nomination Committee of the Board of Directors recommends to the membership seven of the current directors to be elected for two-year terms: Yael Bernier, Edwin Wilson, Johnathon Bishop, David Majerus, Steven Deutsch, Sonia Beck and Lori Sarkasian. The nomination committee also recommends 1 new board member: Suzanne Markel-Fox to be elected for a two-year term.
3. Under the Bylaws, other nominations for Director can be entertained at the Dinner and Business Meeting via a petition signed by 10 voting Members. Blank petitions will be available at the sign-in table.
4. If you are a voting member and unable to attend the Meeting, please fill out the proxy below and either mail or email it back as described in proxy form instructions. One vote is allowed per voting membership. People who live or own property within the boundaries of the Dry Creek Watershed become voting members upon payment of annual dues.

Note: The linked document may be used by voting members to appoint a proxy. A proxy is allowed to vote if the Voting Member cannot attend a meeting.

Mark your calendars! The Annual Roadside Clean-up is on April 6th!

Please use the attached proxy vote document if you can’t attend, but would like to have your vote counted in the election of DCVA Board Members.”
